Computer manufacturer Dell announced that its manufacturing facility in Lodz, Poland was taken over by Foxconn electronics companies. After the transition, Dell will be a customer Foxconn, for desktop products, notebooks, servers and storage systems for the region customernya in Europe (EMEA).According to Dell, this shift will help the company become more efficient through the simplification of its global operations. The good news - for workers Dell - Dell employees do not have to be replaced at Foxconn took over ownership of the plant.
Dell also retains sales and marketing office in Warsaw. Details of this acquisition value was not disclosed. Also, as usual, this agreement also must wait for approval from European Union regulators.
