Samsung accounts for a 23% share of Taiwan's touch-enabled handset market, and aims for 30% by year's end, Tu said, adding that touch-enabled models currently holds a 28% share of Taiwan's overall handset market.
For the smartphone segment, Samsung will introduce models supporting Android 2.1, Windows Phone 7 and its own platform BaDa, Tu said.
