For the second half of 2010, Samsung's smartphone portfolio will be 70% Android based and 30% on its own Bada platform. The company currently has no plans to introduce Windows and Symbian devices in Taiwan.
Market share of Android-based smartphones in Taiwan is expected to rise from 13% currently to 20-25% at the end of 2010, and Samsung aims to be the largest vendor of Android-based smartphones, the company said.
