blueKiwi Launches Free Version of Social Business Platform for External Online Communities

New Fruitful Conversations Community Brings Together Marketers, Community Managers and Social Media Thought Leaders to Share Best Practices.

SAN FRANCISCO -- blueKiwi, the global conversation company, announced the availability of a free version of the blueKiwi Social Business Platform. Designed for marketers, community managers and innovation teams, the new, free version delivers all of the social media tools necessary to create vibrant online communities with external audiences.

Now companies can deliver communities for customers, partners and prospects directly from their website. The easy-to-use interface makes it easier for any community manager to engage with members and bring the most important conversations inside the organization for analysis. With blueKiwi, companies can leverage the conversations from their user groups, channel programs and developer communities in order to increase brand recognition and drive business.

In addition, blueKiwi has also launched the Fruitful Conversations Community. Accessed through the blueKiwi website or within the product, this online community is open to any blueKiwi customer, whether they're using the free, premium or enterprise versions. In this community, clients and prospects can discuss critical success factors for community management, how to engage members, and measuring and leveraging conversations from the crowd.

Key Features:

Internal and External Groups: blueKiwi's free version includes one external community, to which users can invite unlimited external members, along with 10 internal community managers and unlimited internal groups.

Web 2.0 Features: Microblogging, polling, content sharing, bookmarking, ideation and events, all in a single community platform.

Simplified User Interface: Easy-to-use dashboard enables quick management of multiple communities.

Remote Sign-on: Embed blueKiwi communities directly into the website. Whether organizations use two communities or one, members can easily access their communities directly from a company website.

Profile Sync: Leverage Facebook Connect, Twitter and LinkedIn profiles to update your community profile and automatically update.

Fruitful Conversations: A complete online community dedicated to discussing best practices for online community management.

Quotes:

"Too many products cater to internal people. This is useless. The real power of enterprise 2.0 is bridging between external audiences and internal groups. If you don't complete the loop from external to internal, you lose the value and can't take the social advantage," said Carlos Diaz, CEO of blueKiwi Software.

"In today's business environment, everyone is managing a community of some sort, and their greatest challenge is finding new and innovative ways to engage those communities," said Erica Lee, VP of marketing at blueKiwi Software. "With the Fruitful Conversation Community, we are creating a space for people with the same challenges to discuss and overcome some of the hurdles of community management. And we'll invite some of the community gurus from around the globe to join us in these conversations as we all learn to listen and then leverage the crowd."

Legacy's Schroeder Institute selects Techneos' SODA(TM) mobile software to power innovative solution for Washington D.C. Tobacco Quitline

VANCOUVER - Techneos announces that the American Legacy Foundation(R)'s Schroeder Institute for Tobacco Research and Policy has selected its SODA(TM) platform to power an innovative study examining the effectiveness of mobile phone support for the D.C. Tobacco Quitline. The project is funded by a $977,346 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) under a prestigious program for which only about two percent of all applications received funding.

The SODA(TM) Mobile Access Platform is the first research software of its kind. SODA(TM) has the capacity to engage participants in a brand new way which extends beyond simple questions and answers. Capabilities including social media tools, photo capture and GPS/location capture are now enabling the unprecedented tracking of choices, thoughts, movement and patterns.

Beyond the capacity to run on a wide variety of mobile phones such as BlackBerry, Nokia, Android, Windows Mobile and other Java-enabled devices, the SODA(TM) solutions suite equips customers with the entire infrastructure required to create, deploy and manage multi-lingual wireless insight and engagement programs on mobile devices.

"Typically in research, people are questioned about their thoughts, opinions, moods and behavior," says Sean Conry, VP Business Development for Techneos. "What's exciting about this project is that Legacy's Schroeder Institute, Dr. Thomas Kirchner and their research collaborators are closing the gap by initiating dialogue with their participants. They won't just take information, they'll provide it too. Our software will enable people to access details about their very own smoking habits on demand. They'll even be able to reach out to others in their situation to share their experience and ask for advice. We've never seen a project of its equal."

"This application of the SODA(TM) solutions suite represents a new era in mobile research, wherein two-way communication and greater participant engagement in the mobile process will help researchers to obtain the most intimate and salient insights possible," says Dave King, CEO for Techneos.

Cellcrypt Offers Free 90 Day Secure Calling Trial for BlackBerry Smartphone Users

Available from the BlackBerry stand (8B178) at Mobile World Congress 2010.

RESTON, Va. -- In response to the recent concerns regarding cellphone call security, Cellcrypt (www.cellcrypt.com) has launched a Wi-Fi® version of its secure cellphone voice calling application that is free to BlackBerry® smartphones users for 90 days.

Aimed at corporate and government employees, this offer provides a quick and easy 'rapid response' solution for senior executives who have become increasingly concerned about the risk of cellphone voice call interception – especially when travelling abroad – following recent news of advances in cellphone call hacking.

With Cellcrypt, a travelling executive can use their BlackBerry smartphone to make calls over a Wi-Fi network to another Cellcrypt user anywhere in the world and be assured in the knowledge that the content of their call is protected to government-level standards.

A recent survey conducted by ABI Research on behalf of Cellcrypt, showed that while 80% of businesses regard cellphone calls as being at least as vulnerable as email, only 18% have adequate cellphone voice call security solutions in place.

In addition to protecting corporate information, concern for personal safety while travelling abroad is a common reason for securing voice calls. According to the research, 70% of businesses have executives that travel to countries requiring a higher than normal level of concern for safety, and 92% of those consider it the organization's duty to provide mechanisms to protect employees' personal security when travelling.

Cellcrypt will be provisioning the Cellcrypt Mobile application to eligible participants at Mobile World Congress, 15-18 February 2010 at the BlackBerry booth in Hall 8, stand number 8B178. Alternatively, organizations can apply at any time by contacting Cellcrypt at info@cellcrypt.com.

Cellcrypt Mobile provides end-to-end voice encryption on BlackBerry smartphones, ensuring that important cellphone conversations remain confidential. Utilizing the IP data channel it supports cellular (2.5G, 3G, 3.5G), Wi-Fi and satellite networks and delivers government-grade security in an easy-to-use application that makes highly secure calling as easy as making a normal phone call. It is compliant with FIPS 140-2 when used on a FIPS validated BlackBerry smartphone and configuration.

The free for 90 days offer is available for up to 10 handsets per company for use over Wi-Fi, using a Wi-Fi-enabled BlackBerry smartphone. A full Cellcrypt Mobile licence can be purchased at anytime which also includes secure calling over cellular networks (including 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G).

About Cellcrypt

Cellcrypt is the leading provider of technology to secure cellphone voice calls on everyday smartphones. Founded in 2005, Cellcrypt's R&D innovation resulted in Encrypted Mobile Content Protocol (EMCP), an Internet Protocol (IP) based technology that optimizes delivery of encrypted data between cellphones over wireless networks.
