LG has been selling some great phone on the Verizon network for years. But as the name on our site implies, we’re mostly interested in Android handsets. We’ve seen a few Android phones from LG, but up until now, they have only been available in the European market. Late last night, we got word that LG will be launching two new Android phones on Verizon’s network before April! While going over the 2010 Sprint lineup on VZW with an LG rep, our source learned that one handset would be a full touch device (similar to the HTC DROID Eris) while the other would feature a full QWERTY keyboard and described it as having an LG EnV Touch form factor. At this point, we’re not sure exactly what that means. As you might already know, the LG EnV Touch flips open to reveal the QWERT and a smaller secondary screen. My suspicion is that the QWERTY equipped Android phone heading to Verizon will be more like the LG GW620. Fortunately, Mobile World Congress is only two weeks out, so we should see full specs, picture, and maybe even launch dates and pricing by the end of the show.
