Chunghwa Telecom posts March profit of almost NT$3.5 billion Tweet

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) on April 12 reported unaudited net profit of NT$3.457 billion (US$109 million) for March 2010, resulting in January-March net earnings per share (EPS) of NT$1.25.

CHT said it had 1.74 million FTTx (fiber to the home/building) subscribers and 370,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of March.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have also released their financial figures for March.
