Taiwan-based Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) plans to sign an MOU with China-based 3G carrier China Mobile on April 7 for the joint set-up of a TD-LTE experimental network and other joint development projects related to TD-LTE technology, according to FET chairman Douglas Hsu.
Sha Yuejia, executive director and vice president of China Mobile, will sign the MOU on behalf of the company. Sha is currently visiting with a group of high-profile executives from China-based telecom companies.
