BASKING RIDGE, NJ, and SUNNYVALE, CA — Verizon Wireless and TeleNav announced the availability of TeleNav business mobility products for Verizon Wireless enterprise customers. TeleNav’s solutions allow organizations’ field personnel to manage their work and exchange data with back-office systems using their smartphones on the Verizon Wireless network. The companies also announced TeleNav’s designation as one of a select number of companies allowed to include charges for services on customers’ Verizon Wireless bills, making the process more convenient for enterprise customers.
“Our enterprise customers have a need for affordable business mobility products that can communicate well with management software they already have in place,” said Rose Kirk, vice president – enterprise and government distribution and operations for Verizon Wireless. “We chose to work with TeleNav because its products offer the data capture capabilities our customers are looking for, but more importantly, address integration challenges with back-office systems.”
The TeleNav Track™ products are designed to integrate with existing business applications, such as payroll, customer relationship management (CRM), or inventory management systems, to provide a process for wirelessly transferring data collected by mobile personnel in the field to the back-office. The TeleNav Track products for Verizon Wireless include:

“No two organizations or the challenges they face are the same, so it’s important to offer business mobility products that are capable of addressing a broad range of needs,” said Ravi Acharya, associate director of B2B marketing at TeleNav. “Our products can help a company get its feet wet in business mobility with basic tracking, help it go deeper with back-office integration, or degrees in between. No matter what entry point Verizon Wireless customers may choose, our products are designed to easily add capabilities as an organization and its needs grow.”
