The operator of MTS declared about the starting in the commercial operation of network 3G in two cities of central federal region - to Kaluga and Kursk. Now networks 3G MTS act in all regions of central region.

Subscribers can use the mobile Internet for the running off of the files of large volume - photo, audio, video, and also for the survey of documents, access to the electronic mail at the new speeds, on-line- games, hearing Internet- radio. At present network 3G from MTS is accessible in the central regions of Kaluga and Kursk. Prior to the end of 2010 it is planned to ensure the carpet coating of these cities.

Today networks 3G from MTS act in all federal regions, in it is more than 60 regions of Russia. In the central federal region network 3G works in all provincial centers: Vladimir, Voronezh, Tver, Tambov, Smolensk, the Ryazan, Orel, Bryansk, to Kostroma, Yaroslavl', Belgorod, Ivanovo, Lipetsk, to Tula, Kursk, to Kaluga. In 2010-2011 MTS it plans to enlarge existing coating and to continue the building of the networks “of the new generation” in other cities [TSFO].
