iPhone 4 yet is not sold, but it they already dismantled on the spare part Tweet

The representatives of the resource of iFixit reported the fact that they already dismantled the new model of the telephone of the company Of apple and were ready to tell to peace about that which is hidden inside. Apparatus was completely dismantled and examined to the object of available components. The most interesting “discoveries” they are the presence of that doubled in the comparison from iPad by working storage into 512 mb., and also presence of Fm- radio receiver and glass Of gorilla Of glass.

The protective glass with the great probability guarantees not only the absence of scratches in the daily use, but also that the fact that it will not break with the random drop from, for example, the pocket. However, if this nevertheless occurs, then will suffer not only glass-, but also most widely proclaimed Apple the screen Of retina, since it is firmly stuck on the glass together with the sensory panel. And all three components they will require replacements, which naturally increases the cost of repair. However, major portion of the internal space occupies comparatively enormous Li -Ion the storage battery with a capacity of 1420 [mAch]. But, in spite of the imposing dimensions of the element of nourishment, for engineers Apple it was possible to place small, although very effective (if we judge by the quality of the reproducible sound) acoustic module.

Taiwan market: Carriers manage inventory ahead of iPhone 4 launch Tweet

Taiwan-based telecom carriers have been controlling inventory for previous-generation iPhones in anticipation for diminishing demand as consumers delay purchase and await the introduction of the iPhone 4, according to industry sources.

Current iPhone sales in Taiwan are estimated to have decreased 30-50% since the unveiling of the iPhone 4 in early June, said the sources.

Sources from the carriers pointed out that there is still no finalized schedule thus far for the iPhone 4 in Taiwan. Telecom service providers have not received confirmation from Apple regarding launch time-frames, said the sources, adding that all they know is that Apple plans to launch the new device in 18 countries initially in June-July, another 24 in August and 88 more in September.

Despite the decline in sales, carriers in Taiwan said that they have no plans to reduce prices for the iPhone 3GS since inventory levels remain healthy.

If you pre-ordered, go ahead — go check if your status has changed. Don’t worry, we’ll wait. Actually, we won’t wait, because this is text and that is impossible.

Before you get too excited: just because your device shipped today and you live eighteen feet from a FedEx depot doesn’t mean that you’re getting your iPhone 4 early. Apple tends to have tricks up their sleeves to keep these things locked down until the big day (sort of like Santa, wherein Santa is Steve Jobs. Sorry, kids, Steve Jobs isn’t real.) With that said, some do slip through the cracks from time to time, so don’t be too ashamed if you’ve got an urge to camp out on your stoop. We’ll be right there with you (except on our own stoop, not yours. You’re cool and all, we just really like our stoop.)

First person to get their pre-order early gets.. uhh.. gets their iPhone 4 before everyone else! Hurray!

Orders for iPhone 4 too much and he does stay with the output? Tweet

Initially it was planned, which into sale of iPhone 4 will enter on June 24 and at the same time it will be obtained those designed of [predzakaz]. At first the American and European on-line stores Of apple they transferred the period of the delivery of the previously ordered telephones since June 24 on July 2. But the new displacement of periods today in the American store occurred. Now according to the data OF US Of apple Of store the delivery of ordered iPhone 4 will begin not previously on July 14. The sites of British and French departments thus far continue to indicate on July 2, but it is highly improbable that iPhone will leave in Europe earlier than to the USA.

The official commentaries apropos of delay it did not act, but it became yesterday known that the company Of apple as in the case with the plane-tables of iPad underestimated the popularity of its devices. Initial calculation was built on what from the subscribers of operator AT&T (precisely through its network it realizes iPhone 4 V of the USA) not more than 600 000 orders will enter; however, this number was already achieved, but orders continue to enter. It is obvious that to the outlined date on June 24 Apple simply cannot place the larger number of apparatuses. There is not relative to a quantity of [predzakazov] in Europe of official information.

Microsoft is paying developers for iPhone ports on WiMo7 Tweet

According to our industry watch sister site PocketGamer.biz, Microsoft is trying to court successful iPhone developers and hoping to tempt them into porting their games to Windows Phone 7 with upfront cash payments.

Our anonymous source won't be taking the bait. While the cash incentive is "substantial", it's not enough in comparison to the cost of reworking games from iPhone developer language C++ to Windows Phone 7's XNA or Silverlight platforms.

But it does show that Microsoft is dedicated to providing a rich line-up of games when the fleet of devices launches this autumn. Whether or not any iPhone developers will accept the incentive remains to be seen.
