Known issues

Known issues in NOS 2.2.0.124:

Nokia N900 support:

Currently these features are not supported with Nokia N900:
- SMS sending is not supported
- SMS syncing between Nokia N900 and Nokia Ovi Suite is not supported. This is due to missing SMS sync support in Nokia N900 device.
- Nokia N900 doesn’t support accessing memory card content with Nokia Ovi Suite. This means, that Nokia Ovi Suite is always syncing photos, videos and music with Nokia N900 internal memory.
- No application installation support for Nokia N900.
- Messaging: Message notifications are not supported and drafts folder is missing
- Contact group sync is not supported
- Connect to Internet: Not supported over BT.
Also, we recommend, that you have latest Nokia N900 software updated into your device.

Other:

PIM sync:
- Contacts not synced to selected folder and sync returns with error when doing the first sync after changing profiles
- Ovi crashes if syncing bookmark with Firefox which has never been opened before.
- One extra plug sign is displayed at sync done dialogue.
- Thumbnail is lost on sync conflict pane when editing contact in NOS side and deleting in other points.
- Contact isn’t deleted when choosing delete in sync conflict pane and syncing
- No updated information for Deleted items even though the number is more than the selected in “Deleting in sync” options.
- Duplicated text shows in Contacts sync done dialog sometimes
- Text in Sync dialogue isn't displayed right after disconnecting device when syncing
- Option button is missed on Sync with calendar and tasks application / Sync with contacts application
- 'Contacts not synced! ' dialogue is not shown when sync failed

Contacts:
- Contacts are not overwritten when drag&dropping the same contacts
- Message cannot be sent in Contact View when phone connects at the first time
- Removed contact from NOS Contact Group restores again after Sync

Messaging:
- OVI crashes when syncing messages by clicking “Sync messages” button continuously.

Music:
- Unable to show tracks of default watch folder before adding other watch folder.
- The tracks of playlist which contain some Chinese characters are not copied to device pane
- “Copy tracks from device” is not grey when moving focus from PC to device pane after clicking it.
- Device Item pane is updating with content pane during syncing tracks

Software update:
- Restore step is still shown in Get Started page after UDP checking for the UDP supported device.
- Jar applications are lost during Backup and Restore.

Connect to Internet (CTI):
- "Outside home network" dialog pops up even though SIM card`s operator and Home country are coincident
- CTI notification element is not shown when NOS is in minimum status

Backup/Restore:
- "Occasion" value is missing after restoring an anniversary item from S40 to S40 phone

Maps:
- OVI crashes at the end of downloading Maps data update.
- Internal error page is shown after starting to download maps
- Continents are changed to other texts during updating maps data is ongoing.

Tools - Options:
- NOS is not opened automatically from System Tray when "Automatically open Nokia Ovi Suite ... when your device is connected" option is selected in option window
- The device sync setting of a device is also applied to another phone.
