Alcatel OT-980: Budget Android-smartphone with QWERTY Tweet

Apparently, soon to be released the first smartphone based on the Alcatel software platform Android - OT-980. French resource FrAndroid placed a lot of photos and even video device (obviously, for them - a prototype). Model Alcatel OT-980 design is a bit like a smartphone Palm Pre: is equipped with a touchscreen and a retractable down QWERTY-keyboard.

The source images of the device in black and red color options. Characteristics of Alcatel OT-980 are quite simple, but necessary functions such as 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS do exist. The smartphone will be released in France, the operator Orange in first half of this year, the timing of issuance in other markets is not yet known. Most likely, the apparatus will be relatively inexpensive.
