Taiwan-based AboCom Systems is working with white-box handset makers in China to manufacture four Android-based WCDMA smartphones in 2010 with shipments scheduled for June, according to a report from Central News Agency.
Annual shipments are projected to reach 1 million units.
The company plans to add to its portfolio CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA models in the future.
