"The Boost Mobile value proposition is built to serve customers looking for honest value and dependable coverage with no strings attached. This approach is particularly compelling to the Hispanic community," said Bob Stohrer, vice president of marketing, Boost Mobile. "The new Facing Abuse campaign points out many of the trappings of wireless, dramatizing the impact it has on customers, and is an extension of our Sin Abusos platform launched in 2009."
The Facing Abuses campaign began airing its second of three commercials today. The Mad Face spot joins Long Face, which was released in mid-April, in rotation, and a third will be added to the mix this fall. The commercials were all developed by iNSPIRE!, an independent and minority-owned advertising agency that specializes in reaching the very essence of the Hispanic consumer. The campaign promotes Boost Mobile's popular Monthly Unlimited plan, which offers nationwide unlimited calls, text messaging and Web all at $50 and with no contract.
"The real beauty of the campaign is that it takes the conversation with its customers beyond words and establishes an emotional connection," said Fernando Sabah, iNSPIRE! creative director. This is illustrated through the animation of characters' faces to show an exaggerated expression of the abuse consumers go through with their wireless carriers. Understanding the effects of this long and constant abuse, Boost Mobile has taken action to provide an affordable, reliable solution.
