Flo TV outsources mobile TV receivers to HTC Tweet

Flo TV, the mobile TV subsidiary of Qualcomm, has launched a portable mobile TV receiver without mobile phone functionality. The device, outsourced to HTC, is priced at US$200.

Flo TV has also worked with Samsung, LG Electronics, Motorola in mobile TV-enabled handsets that were distributed via channels of AT&T and Verizon. The company also outsourced iPhone accessories and devices for automobile application to Taiwan-based Foxlink, industry sources said.
