MTS and Alcatel-Lucent will conduct in the Ukraine the tests of technology LTE Tweet

The operator of mobile connection the Mts- Ukraine and the company Of alcatel-Lucent declared about the conclusion of a treaty about the collaboration in the region of the development of the services of the wide-band transmission of data on the base of technology LTE and declared about the beginning of preparation for testing of the connection “fourth generation” in the Ukraine.

On agreement conditions Of alcatel-Lucent will grant to MTS the balanced package for the building of test zone LTE. This solution includes base stations LTE, [usovershenstvovannuyu] field control with the commutation of packets EPC (Evolved Of packet Of core), net elements for the service IP- routing, and also systems for the operation, controls and the technical support of infrastructure. Furthermore, Alcatel-Lucent will grant to operator professional services on control of project, including on the planning, development and further testing of network. The beginning of the tests of technology LTE is planned to the second-half of 2010.
