Mobile Documents allows users to immediately access documents that are stored on remote servers, attach them and simply click send. Mobile Documents provides push notification and easy access to email and documents anytime, anywhere – saving users time and data costs. The new application can be downloaded from: http://m.mobiledocuments.com.
“Mobile Documents changes the way we access mail on the go and without all of the roaming or downloading costs,” explains Lee M. Williams, Executive Director of the Symbian Foundation. “We’re proud to see innovative developers harness the power of the Symbian OS to create productivity apps that transform mobile processes. These guys are a great new addition to our member community.”
“Symbian’s open platform allowed us to achieve our goal of creating a dynamic app that modernizes mobile email,” states Peter Lindgren, CEO of VISIARC. “We look forward to tapping into the capabilities of the Symbian^4 platform and discovering even more ways to enhance email services for consumers.”
A demonstration version of Mobile Documents is available for devices running on the Symbian^1 and Symbian^3 platforms with any IMAP email account.
