TWM expects its sales of HTC smartphones, including the HTC Tattoo, HD2 and Legend, will increase 40-50% sequentially in the first quarter of 2010, according to Cliff Lai, COO of consumer business group at TWM.
Sales of smartphones in the Taiwan market are expected to reach 1.4-1.5 million units in 2010, accounting for nearly 20% of the local handset market, estimated Jack Tong, vice president for Asia Pacific at HTC.
