According to the preliminary estimations of company, in summer this year the load on the network of high-speed mobile Internet access in the Crimea will increase 1,5. Besides a seasonal increase in the consumption, the company also considers a yearly increase in the volume of traffic in the Crimea and an increase in the popularity of the service “of MTS Of [konnekt] 3G” among the users, caused by the starting of proposal “MTS Of [konnekt] 3G without the contract”, and also by the prolongation of advantageous tariff for the contract users “of tornados” with the possibility to acquire modem on the action price into 1 to 10 kopecks.
For guaranteeing the high level of the quality of the service of mobile high-speed access to the Internet the company MTS conducted a number of measures for the expansion of coating and an increase in the capacitance of network CDMA.
In the period there was from August 2009 to May 2010 extended already existing coating in Yalta, Sevastopol, [Forose], Alushta, [Gurzufe], and also in s. Of [popovka] Of the [sakskogo] region, where yearly is conducted youth musical festival “republic Of [ka]Z[antip]” - one of the most known festivals of electronic music under the open sky.
Furthermore, in the period of preparation for the holiday season in the Crimea was two times increased the capacity of the base stations, which pick up the greatest load. The undertaken actions made it possible by 35% to increase the capacity of network CDMA in Simferopol', to 30% - in Yalta and more than to 25% in [Evpatorii]. At present in Yalta the process of the optimization of network for an improvement in the level of service in this city also is passed.
