As an important integrated part of the IPTime solution, Huawei' s network operation and maintenance (O&M) solution, is designed incorporating the ideas of "Single OSS(Operation Support System)", "Continuous Innovations", and "Customer-centric". The O&M solution enables carriers to enjoy benefits as rolling out services and identifying faults quickly, addressing the key issues, and cutting OPEX during their network transformation to the All IP networks, thereby turning a top-notch network into a reality.
Regarding the business services (IP&Optical) NMS arena, Huawei has been focusing on visualized O&M and making one breakthrough after another. Huawei's business services (IP&Optical) NMS solution achieves the visualized management of IP services, fast service rollout and fault identification, and network assessment and diagnosis, making it possible to change to proactive O&M from reactive O&M. In terms of the residential broadband NMS, Huawei has developed the integrated fiber-copper equipment management and access line assurance schemes to automatically provision services and accurately identify faults.
Up to date, Huawei's iManager U2000 NMSs have been selected by over 200 carriers around the world, including China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Vodafone, France Telecom, Deutsche Telekom and KPN.
