Motorola Milestone XT701 smartphone Tweet

Motorola and Taiwan-based carrier Chunghwa Telecom have co-launched the Milestone XT701 smartphone, which features a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel digital camera and the Cortex-A8 processor, priced at NT$17,500 (US$552).

Motorola will introduce five new Android-based smartphones in Taiwan in 2010 aiming for a top-five smartphone market share, according to the company. Currently the company ranks seventh in overall handset sales with a 2.2% share of the Taiwan market.
