(NYSE: MOT) announced that users of Toshiba Strata® CIX™ IP business communication systems can now deploy Motorola’s Total Enterprise Access and Mobility Voice-over-wireless-LAN (TEAM VoWLAN) solution for mobile voice and data communications. Certified interoperable with Toshiba’s Strata CIX IP systems, Motorola’s TEAM VoWLAN solution will be available nationwide through Toshiba’s Authorized Dealer Network in April 2010.

Following best practices in networking, the TEAM solution can be easily integrated into existing WLAN and PBX infrastructure, creating a single common platform for the delivery of integrated voice and data services. In addition to offering toll-quality telephony services integrated with the PBX and enterprise-grade push-to-talk (PTT), Motorola’s TEAM solution takes voice-over-WLAN beyond voice by including mobile email, calendar/contact sync, text messaging, Internet/intranet access, and the flexibility of Windows Mobile® for business applications.
The TEAM VoWLAN solution is part of Motorola’s comprehensive portfolio designed to deliver secure, real-time, mobile access to fundamental communication services workers who need to stay on top of business throughout the day. The forward-looking design of the TEAM VoWLAN solution can scale from SMB to large enterprises. It easily incorporates other TEAM solution capabilities, such as the extension of PTT services to a broad range of voice-capable Motorola mobile computers with TEAM Express, and two-way radios with the TEAM Radio Link Solution (RLS).
