Motorola expands its WX Series to bring affordable phones to everyone.

BASINGSTOKE, UK – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) expanded its popular WX range with six new entry level mobile devices that allow even more people to stay connected. The WX range will now feature the stylish MOTO™ WX161 and MOTO™ WX181 candybar handsets with FM radio and integrated light torch, and the MOTO™ WX260 and MOTO™ WX265 which add Bluetooth®1, integrated MP3 players and expandable memory of up to 2GB. The WX Series is completed by the MOTO™ WX290 and MOTO™ WX295 which add a digital camera to the WX feature set.

MOTO WX181 – Your Life. In Colour.
MOTO WX181 livens up any conversation with a cool 1.5" colour display and FM radio with integrated RDS2 which shows the songs, artists and genres you’re listening to. With a built-in LED torch, this phone will also light up your way in dark environments and allows up to five people to join a call simultaneously for conference calls on the go.

MOTO WX161, MOTO WX260 and MOTO WX265 – Your Life. In Tune.
MOTO WX161 keeps you connected with calls and SMS, with a soundtrack provided by the embedded FM radio and RDS that lets users display song and station information. The sleek and compact design combined with a 1.3" display, long-life battery and built-in LED torch makes the WX161 the ideal entry level mobile phone.

Combining an FM radio and MP3 player, the MOTO WX260 is a music maverick with WAP that also allows you to browse the web and download personalised ringtones. This candybar style handset offers a genuine music playing experience and can blast out up to 11 hours of non-stop music3.

For lovers of the flip design, the MOTO WX265 will hit the right note by combining all the features of the MOTO WX260 in a stylish clamshell.

Both MOTO WX260 and MOTO WX265 let users listen to their favourite tunes anywhere, offer wireless calls with Bluetooth® 2.0, and store up to 2GB of music via an optional microSD card.

Camera, music, style! MOTO WX290 and MOTO WX295 have it all.

Featuring a 1.8" colour screen, embedded digital camera, MMS and LED torch light, MOTO WX290 allows users to snap and share those special moments anywhere, anytime. Its stylishly simple design also packs in a WAP 2.0 browser, stereo FM radio and Bluetooth 2.0, making MOTO WX290 perfect for users who live their life on-the-go.

MOTO WX295 is the alternative for those who would prefer all these features in a flip design.

These six new phones join the MOTO™ WX160, MOTO™ WX180, MOTO™ WX280, MOTO™ WX288, MOTO™ WX390 and MOTO™ WX395 as part of Motorola’s WX Series portfolio.
