AT&T Supports More Than 370 Wireless Specialty Devices

Tuesday, January 26, 2010

Solidifies Leadership in Wirelessly Connecting eReaders, Netbooks, Personal Navigation Devices, Other Consumer Electronics.

AT&T*, which offers the nation’s most advanced mobile broadband experience, announced today that through 2009, it has certified more than 370 wireless specialty consumer and machine-to-machine devices – such as ereaders, netbooks, digital photo frames, personal navigation devices, and home security monitoring and smart grid devices – for use on its mobile broadband network.

Consumers and business customers rely on AT&T’s wireless network to access a range of new, innovative solutions to make their lives and workplaces more efficient and productive. In addition to consumer electronics devices, or emerging devices, these solutions include rugged handsets and laptops, healthcare tracking tools, and meter-reading, vending machine, and home detention devices, among multiple devices designed to support the needs of a broad range of M2M solutions for enterprises.

Since forming a dedicated organization to focus on wirelessly connecting new categories of emerging devices in late 2008, AT&T has emerged as the clear industry leader in one of the wireless industry’s fastest growing areas.

“AT&T's network has been leading the nation in smartphone mobile broadband usage for close to two years. As a result, today we offer the nation’s most advanced mobile broadband experience, with twice as many smartphone customers choosing us and leading consumer electronics companies naming us as their network of choice for emerging devices,” said Glenn Lurie, president of emerging devices, resale and partnerships.

“AT&T offers advantages our U.S. competitors cannot: the nation’s fastest 3G network, the GSM world standard for wireless technology – which allows customers to use their wireless devices for voice in 220 countries and data services in more than 190 countries through roaming agreements – and the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network,” said Lurie. “Plus we’ll be able to offer customers even faster speeds in 2010 and 2011 in advance of 4G networks and devices being widely available, setting us further apart from the competition as the mobile broadband leader.”

Today, AT&T is supporting or has announced plans to support devices in many of the major emerging device categories:

* eReaders: AT&T provides the mobile broadband connection for top selling eReaders, including the Amazon Kindle and the Barnes & Noble nook. AT&T has signed agreements to connect the Plastic Logic QUE™ proReader and Interead’s COOL-ER 3G, both expected to launch in the coming months.
* Netbooks: AT&T provides embedded wireless connectivity for netbooks and laptops from all major computing device manufacturers, including Acer, Dell, Lenovo, and Samsung, among others, all available today through either AT&T’s company owned retail locations, att.com, or leading national retailers.
* Personal Navigation Devices: AT&T provides the network connection to the only wirelessly connected, dedicated personal navigation devices in the market, the Garmin nĆ¼vi® 1690 and the TomTom XL 340S LIVE, both featuring local search and fuel price services, among other content.
* Digital Photo Frames: AT&T will provide the wireless connection for two digital photo frames – Isabella’s VIZIT and the Pandigital Photo Mail LED Digital Photo Frame – both expected to be in market in the first quarter of 2010.
* Telematics Devices: AT&T currently enables telematics service for a major luxury automotive OEM and has plans to expand to other automakers.

“We are committed to collaborating with consumer electronics manufacturers and all other companies in the emerging devices ecosystem to help drive innovation and growth in what is perhaps the most exciting area in the wireless industry today,” said Lurie. “We’ve developed the infrastructure to help electronic manufacturers quickly bring their products to market, creating new business models, offering new pricing structures for customers who purchase emerging devices, and continually expanding our mobile network capabilities to support the long-term growth of these devices.”

Investments in Spurring Emerging Device Growth
Last year, AT&T teamed with Jasper Wireless to build a platform to connect and support a variety of emerging consumer electronic and business devices on AT&T’s wireless network. The proprietary platform – AT&T Control Center, powered by Jasper Wireless – accelerates market entry for connected devices while offering unique features such as instant activation and flexible rate plans that benefit device manufacturers and end-user customers, including consumers, small businesses and enterprises. In fact, by integrating this platform with its network, AT&T can enable manufacturers to go from concept to market in as little as six months – and to build a high-quality customer experience so most devices are already activated and ready to go “out-of-the-box.”

AT&T also opened a dedicated emerging device certification lab in Austin in September to serve as the hub for testing network compatibility, data performance and audio quality for a broad range of non-traditional, wirelessly-enabled devices The lab also manages field tests for these devices in markets across the country.

This month, AT&T launched a new web site — www.att.com/edo — which is the “front door” into its Emerging Devices Organization for consumer electronics and next-generation device manufacturers. The site includes the AT&T M2M Developer Kit, a Device Certification On-Boarding Tool, and information to help prospective business allies determine the right business model, network options, product specifications, and potential customer care and distribution solutions.

HTC Bravo and Legend - unique information and pictures!

Today one of our readers - Tom - we sent a very interesting material for two upcoming HTC Runner - Bravo and Legend, which I would like to share with you now. In the entry you will find new photos of Bravo and some interesting information about the appearance of the legend.

The first one (androidowy equivalent HD2) is to be officially presented in March, and sales should hit in April. I recall that on board we can find among others: 3.7-inch AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 1GHz QSD, 3G HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, 512MB RAM, sound Dolby for Mobile Camera 5Mpix with video recording capability in HD (720p) and the Android version 2.1 with the overlay Sense UI.

Unfortunately, Tom did not have the ability to take photos Legend model, but briefly describe the appearance of your phone:

The most important are 2 things: the aluminum body of the phone and AMOLED display. Legend entire body is made of aluminum and it can not be broken. Element, which can remove the plastic, lower part of the back cover. After the photo shows us a place for the battery, SIM card and MicroSD. The second part is a removable cover antennas located around the camera and LED flash.

Phone no: 5Mpix camera, flash, AMOLED display (probably 480 × 800, 16 million colors) and the system Android (I learned that probably 2.1 but this is dependent on whether Google succeed in later versions or not) is standard trackball converted into optical sensor (as Bravo). Under the display there are 4 function buttons: back, menu, back to the main panel and Lupka. The whole phone seems to be smaller and zgrabniejszy the Hero (rounded corners) with the characteristic curve. The camera has to have its official premiere in March, also (suggested price of about 2100 zł).

As you can see, smart phones promise to be extremely interesting and looks (probably like most of you) I look forward to their official presentation.

At the end, I wanted to greet Tom and thank him for the submitted material.

Droid Overclocked to 1.1Ghz; Now Faster than Nexus One

Folks over at AllDroid have managed to overclock the Motorola Droid phone to 1.1Ghz, hence making it faster than the “stock” Nexus One which is powered by 1Ghz Snapdragon processor. The test was carried out by testing Droid with different clock speeds (800Mhz, 900Mhz, 1Ghz, 1.1Ghz) after which it was found to be running most stable at 800Mhz.

Droid overclock

Here are 3 intirim releases I used when compiling the info in this post, where the 600MHz slot was replaced with 800MHz, 900MHz, and 1GHz respectivly. 800MHz seems rock solid, as did 900MHz, 1GHz was only tested for 5 minutes. 1.1 seems a touch unstable so it’s going to be left for when cpufreq and etc get more slots added.

Benchmarks from the test are as follows.

900MHz
7.646 Mflops/s on linpack
3054 on BenchmarkPi
990MHz
8.367 Mflops/s on linpack
2695 on BenchmarkPi
1GHz
?? Mflops/s on linpack
2661 on BenchmarkPi
1.1GHz
9.254 Mflops/s on linpack
?? BenchmarkPi

If you are feeling adventurous, follow the steps below to overclock your Droid to any of the mentioned clock speeds. Make sure you perform a full nandroid backup first before following any of the steps mentioned below.

Warning Note: Overclocking may result in damage to your phone components, loss of life expectancy, or even frying them. Overclocking is done at your own risk and we take no responsibility for any damage you inflict upon your phone.

Step 1: You’ll need to first root your Motorola Droid. Follow the step by step guide posted here to root your Droid phone if you haven’t already.

Step 2: Make sure that you have flash_image on your system, in /system/xbin/ or /system/bin.

Step 3: Enable USB debugging on the phone.

Step 4: Download evilboot8.img to overclock Droid to 800Mhz, evilboot9.img for 900Mhz and evilboot1g.img for 1Ghz from the source link here.

Step 5: Now reboot into sprecovery mode and select mount options as follows.

mount /system
moust /sdcard

Step 5: Now run the following adb command from your PC.

adb shell /system/xbin/flash_image boot /sdcard/evilboot8.img
(where xbin is xbin or bin depending on location of flash_image file on phone)

Step 6: Now unmount in the following order.

unmount /system
unmount /sdcard

Step 7: Reboot your phone.

That’s it! You should now be running Droid on higher clock speed, making it faster and snappier than ever before.

hd2 wifi 802.11 N and its relation with THE EXISTANCE OF FM TRANSMITTER

in the regestry edit you enter the section BCMSDDHD1 has any one noticed that the first 3 letters bcm reveals to the broadcom chip that exists in it as models from this company starts with 3 letters like (BCM4329)
and the only chip in this company that supports n wifi is the (BCM4329) that exists in the google nexus one and this chip supports fm transmition so
conclusion (if hd2 really supports wifi n type then it contains the only chip that supports it which is the BCM4329 that should support fm transmittence ) so if (wifi n) is really supported then the hd2 has a built in (fm transmitter hardware) that exists in the (BCM4329)chip so we hope to make an application to activate this option
correct me if iam wrong

what we have reached till now for developers
1.BLAST3RR have helped us with the datasheet in the attatchements for the broadcom chip
2. some tests are made to make sure that the hd2 has a really wifi n hardware and it seems that it supports it some what so we are some what sure that hd2 contains the BCM4329 chip as it is the only chip that supports wifi n type but we need live evidense
3. there are some pics of the internal components but it doesnot show the kind of the chip
4. xmoo posted a link to a cab that may help us in developing http://rapidshare.com/files/34053706...ebug_Tools.cab and here is the link of its thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=5446085
5.BLAST3RR reached that hd2 definitely has an audio path to the TX part for the FM radio, as it is listed in the 'WceSetAudioDev'.
Among the options is a 'I2S TX'. I therefore assume this is the path needed to feed the transmitter audio
6.useful files are added in attatchements fmradiosdk.dll & htcfm.dill to help in development

what is missing us
1. more tests to make sure of the existance of wifi n type
2. live evidense of the type of the chip included in hd2
3. we need some developers to see the post and give us their opinions
4. trying to make a proper programm to use fm transmittance function if it exists

US Cellular Carrier Individual Plans – Q1, 2010

Mobile-review have posted an article about US Cellular Carrier Individual Plans. Here is their final conclusion.

There could be great many factors that will define the carrier of choice for each person, from equipment availability to the reception in customer’s house, but leaving all the particulars aside, today T-Mobile offers by far the best value on the market. If you are not afraid of buying your equipment from a third party, you will have a phone you like and a very compelling voice, text and data plans. The main weakness of the network is the weird 3G frequency, limiting the choices available and the cost of entry with unsubsidized phones.

MetroPCS is a great value overall, but the limited handset availability and size of its network limits is appeal. For now, that is.

Sprint is less expensive than Verizon and offers more with free Direct Connect included into all of its plans. Its 4G network is growing when competition is only starting to work on it.

Verizon and AT&T are really competing with each other. It looks like nobody else on the market exists for marketing departments of both carriers and, considering the size of these two, it is not surprising. Nonetheless we do see that price policies of MetroPCS, Leap Wireless and T-Mobile have an effect on what these two behemoths do.

In the meantime, we will be observing the new developments, analyze them and bring you quarterly updates, hoping our work will help you to choose the carrier and plan fitting your needs the most.

As for the overall market, we feel that the price war is far from over and before the end of the year we may see more price reductions from everybody, specifically on data. This will in turn have an interesting effect on your home internet provider, just like reductions in cellular voice traffic cost made a huge impact on your home phone company. Don’t you just love to live in a technology era?

MARION, IN — Verizon Wireless has activated two new cell sites in Grant County, which enable more customers in certain parts of the county to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls, send and receive e-mail and text, picture and video messages, access the Internet, view high-quality videos, and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.

The new cell sites, each of which is equipped with a permanent backup generator for times of emergency, improve voice and data coverage on the east side of Marion and in Point Isabel as well as along the following major roads:

* State Road 18 between Washington Street and County Road 300 East;
* Pennsylvania Street between East Bradford Street and South Lincoln Boulevard;
* South Lincoln Boulevard between 38th Street and 12th Street;
* State Road 26 between County Road 1020 East and State Road 37;
* State Road 13 between U.S. Route 35 and County Road 1600 North and;
* State Road 37 between County Road 1600 North and State Road 26.

“These new cell sites were built to ensure that our customers in Marion and Point Isabel can continue relying on their phones for everything from making calls and sending messages to surfing the Internet and getting e-mail,” said Greg Haller, president–Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless. “The most advanced device is only as good as the network it runs on. We aggressively invest in our Indiana network to increase coverage and capacity for our customers and to continue to elevate the bar in network reliability.”

Verizon Wireless has invested more than $50 billion since it was formed—$5.5 billion on average every year—to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services. Since 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested $1.06 billion on improvements to its wireless network in Indiana.

Well, well - what a nice surprise we have here. The Motorola MILESTONE seems to be exactly the device the company needed. The one to grab it by the scruff of the neck and pull it out of the mess it got itself into. You know, ever since the razors started to get a little blunt and long in the tooth.

The MOTO army have taken serious casualties recently so heavily armed new recruits were desperately needed. But Motorola obviously believed a good general is worth more than a regiment so along came the MILESTONE. A device that generates prestige as well as income is nothing short of a phenomenal success.

The best part is that even the fearsome Nexus One is unlikely to really upset the MILESTONE: the QWERTY keyboard and multi-touch are enough to secure it against Google's new gadget.

There seem to be not too many direct rivals hitting the shelves soon either so the sun will keep shining for quite a while on this one. Motorola will have plenty of time to develop a worthy successor, and will get recognition as one of - if not THE - leading manufacturer in the increasingly crowded Android market.

That in turn will perhaps benefit the sales of their other Google OS phones - unusual handsets like the Motorola BackFlip need all the positive exposure they can get or otherwise they risk being poorly judged and dismissed as just gimmicks.

Anyway, cool as it may be, the Motorola MILESTONE isn't without competition. Unlike the entry-level touchscreen smartphone race where Nokia is pretty much the only horse, it's pretty crowded at the top.

The HTC Touch Pro2 and the Samsung B7610 OmniaPRO are solid QWERTY-enabled PocketPCs that will certainly do the job if it's the MILESTONE features rather than the OS that you are after. They probably offer more 3rd party software than the Android-running MILESTONE but most of it isn't in the Windows Marketplace yet and you will have to do the searching yourselves.

The Nokia N97 is another handset that matches the hardware functionality of the Motorola MILESTONE and even comes at a much lower price. However, the unpolished S60 UI cannot rival Android for either user-friendliness or 3rd party software availability.

There is plenty of potential there of course, given the huge S60 user base, but if you care about potential we would rather recommend the Nokia N900. It packs one of the best browsers we've seen and it's cheaper than the MILESTONE. We shouldn't forget either that Nokia handsets are about to receive free lifetime voice navigation, which is a great value boost.

So, it seems there're enough MILESTONE alternatives outside the Android world but if you insist on this platform (and we believe there are plenty of people who do) the rather outdated G1 is pretty much your only option. And it really only has a slightly lower price in its favor, while the MILESTONE blows it away in almost every other category. If you are looking for a high-end Android, this is really your only choice at the moment.

NI Technology Previews Earnings for Altera, Integrated Device Technology, RF Micro Devices, STMicroelectronics and Citrix Systems

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Next Inning Technology Research (http://www.nextinning.com), an online investment newsletter focused on semiconductor and technology stocks, announced it has updated outlooks for Altera (Nasdaq: ALTR), Integrated Device Technology (Nasdaq: IDTI), RF Micro Devices (Nasdaq: RFMD), STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM) and Citrix Systems ( CTXS).

Editor Paul McWilliams has displayed uncanny accuracy in predicting the ebb and flow of the markets during the last 12 months. He not only called the relief rally that started in November 2008 and nailed the March bottom to the day, he also predicted the catalysts that would fuel what has been one of the most significant recovery rallies in NASDAQ history.

In a new special report, "10 Tech Trends for 2010," McWilliams lays out his predictions for 2010 covering important stories from cloud computing to virtualization to data centers and solid state drives. In this extensive report, McWilliams provides an in-depth forecast for a variety of tech sectors and provides specific investment opinions and price targets on leading tech stocks. This valuable report is available for free to trial subscribers.

Long-term Next Inning readers know this is an important report. In his special report published in late 2008, he helped position readers early with big winners like Apple, Blue Coat Systems, Diode Inc., Flextronics, 3Com and Sun Microsystems, noting clearly the latter two were acquisition candidates. Prices for these stocks have since advanced between 135% and 250%.

To get the inside scoop on how McWilliams regularly tops broad market performance, investors have the opportunity to take a free 21-day test drive with Next Inning. With this, you'll receive not only McWilliams' "10 Tech Trends for 2010," but also his highly acclaimed State of Tech reports that will help you position your portfolio for the upcoming January earnings season. With State of Tech you'll get in-depth sector by sector coverage of over 65 leading tech companies and McWilliams' specific guidance as to which stocks he thinks you should own and which you should avoid. To take advantage of this offer and receive these reports for free, please visit the following link:

https://www.nextinning.com/subscribe/index.php?refer=prn952

McWilliams covers these topics and more in his recent reports:

-- Does the recent solid earnings report for Xilinx imply that Altera will also outperform expectations with its upcoming earnings report? How does McWilliams expect Wall Street to respond to Altera's numbers? What is it that McWilliams says Wall Street simply doesn't get when it comes to programmable logic? Is Altera's stock trading notably below McWilliams' fair value price?

-- Is Wall Street beginning to view IDT in a more favorable light? What does McWilliams think Wall Street is still missing? Does a valuation analysis suggest IDT shares are now trading at a bargain price?

-- We all know about how Nokia is impacting the RF sector; many investors have known about the trend there for nearly two years. However, it would appear the trends for RF Micro in China are still running below the radar. What other factors does McWilliams see aligning for companies in the RF sector like RF Micro, Skyworks, Anadigics and TriQuint?

-- What five positive events may have emerged for STMicro during Q4? Does McWilliams expect STMicro to outperform analyst expectations in its upcoming earnings report?

-- Is Citrix Systems positioned to perform well as the trend towards virtualization accelerates? Among EMC, VMWare and Citrix, which two stocks does McWilliams think makes the most sense to pair together as an investment? Why?

Founded in September 2002, Next Inning's model portfolio has returned 220% since its inception versus 21% for the S&P 500.

SRS TruVolume Achieves 30-Million Unit Milestone

More Than 3,500 CE Products Worldwide Leverage SRS TruVolume To Eliminate Volume Fluctuations.

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- SRS Labs (Nasdaq: SRSL), the industry leader in surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, announced today that 30-million SRS TruVolume-equipped consumer electronic (CE) devices have been deployed worldwide within more than 3,500 specific product models, which translates to over 50 times more models utilizing SRS TruVolume than its nearest competitor.

"SRS TruVolume is unquestionably the premier audio leveling solution on the market," said Allen H. Gharapetian, Vice President of Marketing for SRS Labs. "With TruVolume, there are no extra settings to configure or extra efforts needed to navigate through cumbersome menus just to make sure the feature works correctly. No matter the device, when TruVolume is turned on, all of those pesky volume fluctuations associated with watching TV are eliminated immediately. With more than 30-million products featuring TruVolume in homes, we are clearly in the lead and the strength of our position grows daily."

SRS TruVolume is available in more than 3,500 individual CE products, and is best known for its penetration within the HDTV market, in which it holds a majority market share of more than 22-percent. Leading consumer manufacturers, such as Samsung and VIZIO now feature SRS TruVolume within a vast majority of their respective HDTV models. According to industry sources, the next closest volume-leveling competitor is available in only 62 individual CE product models.

Meanwhile, TruVolume has also made significant headway within the expanding soundbar market. Available in all VIZIO soundbar models, TruVolume has a commanding lead in the sound bar market considering VIZIO's dominant market share, which exceeds the 50-percent mark in soundbars. SRS TruVolume is also deployed in automotive and mobile products and is now available as a standalone hardware adaptor, called MyVolume. The MyVolume Adaptor brings the power of TruVolume to pre-existing TV models that originally shipped without the solution pre-installed.

In a recent MarketTools third party survey, nine out of 10 TV viewers in North America had noticed volume fluctuations when watching television and 89 percent of them indicated that they find the volume fluctuations annoying. Several other recent studies have confirmed that annoying volume fluctuations are universally noticed and disdained by TV viewers worldwide. In addition, the U.S. Senate is currently considering legislation known as the C.A.L.M. Act, which is designed to help establish universal volume level standards for U.S. broadcast and cable companies, and will in turn be enforced by the FCC. While the end result is believed to be a more consistent audio experience on a single channel or network, the act is unable to control the oft-violent volume spikes as experienced while switching from channel to channel for example, which is where SRS TruVolume is critical.

SRS TruVolume utilizes advanced, patent pending technology proprietary to SRS Labs to provide listeners with a consistently comfortable volume level, thus enabling a more enjoyable entertainment experience. TruVolume incorporates advanced multi-band analysis that simulates how people perceive volume shifts, as well as discrimination technology that identifies appropriate points for action. As a result, TruVolume eliminates annoying side effects that plagued previous volume leveling solutions, operating unobtrusively and effectively. Listeners simply set the volume to their preferred listening level, sit back and relax.

Leading Analyst Firm Includes Baynote in New Report on Using Search and Advanced Analytics to Target Content

Baynote's Collective Intelligence technology proven to help companies target content and products at website visitors, detect changing business patterns.

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Baynote, the leader in intent-driven recommendations and site search optimization solutions for Global 2000 and e-commerce organizations, today announced that it has been referenced in Gartner, Inc.'s recently released report: "Leading Websites Will Use Search, Advanced Analytics to Target Content"[i]. To receive a complimentary copy of the report, please visit www.baynote.com/gartnerpaper/.

Gartner predicts that by year-end 2013, over 30 percent of the 100 most popular websites will use search technology or content analytics to target content at users. Further, Gartner believes that over 60 percent of these top 100 websites will actively seek out and respond to new activity patterns by that time. According to the report, "By tracking users' behavior and incorporating more information about users, websites will allow the enterprise to detect changing business patterns early on, and websites will become the channel by which the enterprise can detect and respond to these changing patterns to seize opportunities or mitigate threats."

Baynote's Collective Intelligence Platform™ allows businesses to better understand their site visitors' intent and context and automatically display the best content and products based on that insight. Today, Baynote is widely used by market leading companies in telecommunications, retail, media, travel, consumer electronics, high tech and healthcare to guide customers to the most relevant content and products and identify patterns in consumer behavior in order to make more strategic business decisions.

According to Gartner, "Technology that can make inferences from collective intelligence patterns could analyze the results of the query based on user recommendations and analysis of social networks involving the user or the website. The system will then return results with relevance ratings much as in Internet searches today. However, the results will consist, not of Web pages with the "Top 10" and subsequently ranked hits, but of the most optimal response to the user given the intelligence gathered up to and including the last click."

"As Gartner's research shows, more companies are putting in place strategies that allow them to proactively seek and respond to early warning signals that form patterns in the marketplace," said Jack Jia, founder and CEO of Baynote. "Baynote helps companies identify these patterns with patented technology that lets them tap into the implicit insights of customers, partners and employees visiting their websites.

"His technical expertise combined with his experience in product development and successes in bringing products from concept to mass production will have immediate impact as we move into mass market deployment of our innovative RF transmit chain efficiency technology."

Christensen was vice president of engineering for Quorum Systems, Inc., a fabless wireless semiconductor company he co-founded in 2002. In 2008, Quorum Systems was acquired by Spreadtrum Communications, Inc. for $76 million. Christensen remained at Spreadtrum, serving as CTO and vice president for RFIC for the company's U.S. division. Here he was integral in establishing Spreadtrum's varied portfolio of complementary radio transceivers for all of their baseband products in both domestic and international markets, and he led the design team whose products were ultimately shipped in volume by Samsung Electronics.

Earlier in his career, Christensen was a senior RF systems architect at National Semiconductor (formerly Innocom Wireless) and held RF design engineer positions at Solectek Corporation and Torrey Science Corporation. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology.

"Quantance has the right technology to address the increasingly evident problems in high speed wireless data, like poor data speed, spotty data coverage, overheating, and limited battery life at a time when the consumer's hunger for data-on-the-go is driving demand for improved performance in all these areas," said Christensen. "We have a real opportunity to impact the industry, and I'm excited to be a part of the team that will make a difference in how people embrace wireless devices of today and tomorrow."
