Use Adobe Reader Security Features

PDF files are virtually safe from "open source" people who are not authorized. However, the information in it yet safe. Everyone can read it.

So we need a better security to protect the PDF files. For example by adding or fill in the password when opening pdf files, so step unauthorized person to open it will be hampered.

To make this clear so do not need to buy expensive Acrobat Pro. Acrobat Reader has added new security features like this. The following steps create a password on a PDF file:
  1. Run the program Acrobat Reader, then open your pdf file.
  2. After that, click on "Document> Security> Show Security Settings for This Document", so the Document Properties window appears.
  3. Click the "Security" tab. In the Document Security section, enable "Security Method" by selecting "Password Security". Because previous in-setting without security.
  4. Then a window will appear Password Security. Then click on the option "Require a password to open the document".
  5. You will be asked to fill in password in the box provided. Once completed the steps above, you are prompted to save the fileit, then close the file. And open the file again so that you are asked to fill in the password. If in three times to fill in your password wrong, then the program will automatically disable the file to be opened.
