How to Disable Taskbar Preview in Windows 7

If taskbar preview in Windows 7 disable, when you put the mouse over in the taskbar icon then preview window or thumbnail not appear. And here the steps to disable taskbar preview in Windows 7:
  1. Open the Registry Editor by clicking Start and then Run. Type "regedit" (without the quotes) and press Enter or click OK.
  2. In the Registry Editor window, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Taskband.
  3. In RHS panel or on the right side of the window, create a new DWORD value by right-clicking on an empty area of the window then select New -> DWORD (32 bit) value.
  4. Give the new value with the name "MaxThumbSizePx" (without the quotes).
  5. Double-click or right-click the value and select Modify to change its value.
  6. In the Edit DWORD Value window, select the Decimal option, and give value with number 250.
  7. Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer.
After restart, please open a program for example internet explorer and then place the mouse in that icon from taskbar. If you successfully above steps, the taskbar preview not visible. If you want enable taskbar preview, delete the new value that name "MaxThumbSizePx" in the registry. I hope the tips to disable taskbar preview in Windows 7 above usefull for us.
