LONDON -- PC World is to open a new Superstore in Tottenham on 28th May 2010. The opening has created 7 new jobs, with staff from the local area appointed to work in store providing first class customer service and expert technology advice.

At 14,000 square feet the store will offer over 6,000 of the latest IT, gadgets and technology products. It includes a huge range of TVs including the latest LCD TV from Panasonic, LG, Samsung and a gaming area, where customers can play the latest games in the comfort of specially designed gaming chairs and test out the very latest kit.

The store has been specially designed to help customers get the most out of their shopping trip with numerous 'experience zones' to where they can test out hundreds of products and new technologies throughout the store. Specialist trained store staff will be on hand to provide expert advice in the areas of Computing, Gaming, Vision and Cameras.

An interactive Apple play table, which will be situated on the right hand side of the store, will allow local shoppers to pick up, turn on and test out all of the very latest products from across the hugely popular Apple range. Products include the latest Ipad and imac/macbooks as well as the full iPod range.

The Tottenham Superstore will also boast a specialist dedicated Tech Guys clinic. The clinic will see 4 highly trained Tech Guys staff able to give specialist advice on everything from implementing parental internet controls to installing the latest software. The clinic will also operate a repair and maintenance service for a wide range of different IT and technology products.

Phil Offord, PC World Tottenham store manager, comments: "We're really looking forward to opening. Tottenham has a really vibrant retail scene with some fantastic shopping so it's only fitting that the UK's biggest computer retailer is there too. Whether it's the latest laptop, a camera or a bigger TV to watch England play we're confident you'll be able to find what you're looking for at the best price."

A free next day delivery service will be operated from the store for local shoppers, guaranteeing next day home delivery on products purchased in-store. A Reserve and Collect service will also enable shoppers to select products online at home before picking them up in-store.

With tens of thousands of small businesses in the area, the new Tottenham Superstore will feature a business centre, providing local small businesses with access to specialist advice and technology products designed specifically for business purposes.

All newly recruited staff at the local store are currently undergoing PC World's new training programme designed by the retailer to reinforce its commitment to customer service. Known as the 'training academy' the intensive 5 week training programme has been designed to inform staff about all the very latest products and technologies, and to ensure they deliver outstanding customer service.
