Monday, February 1, 2010

The Japanese company NEC has announced that the upcoming Mobile World Congress (Mobile World Congress 2010), which will be held from 15 to 18 February in Barcelona, Spain, will introduce the concept of a mobile terminal with support for LTE - a new standard of mobile communication.

With this concept, the company intends to demonstrate the capabilities of its mobile platform "LTE-PF" on the transfer of high definition video and other features associated with high-speed communications among the LTE.

Recall that in October last year, four Japanese companies - DOCOMO, NEC, Panasonic Mobile Communications and Fujitsu have announced their success in developing mobile-terminal platform "LTE-PF" and the launch of its first engineering samples of chips based on the new platform.
