Dolby has made inroads to the mobile audio market with new technology Dolby Mobile and cooperations with Japan-based telecom carriers NTT Docomo and handset brands LG Electronics, Lenovo and Nokia, according to the company, adding that it is also aiming for orders from Apple and HTC.
In 2010, LG will unveil 20 new handsets with Dolby audio solutions, and Nokia recently launched the N8 smartphone, which also comes with Dolby technology.
Dolby is expected to showcase new mobile audio technology in Computex Taipei 2010 in June.
