Ericsson has set a new world speed record in a network HSPA - 84 Mbit / s

The company Ericsson announced that one of the demonstrations at the World Mobile Congress (Mobile World Congress - MWC) it will be represented in the action of the world's first network of HSPA, enabling transfer speeds of 84 Mbps. Recall that in last year's MWC Ericsson demonstrated the world's first HSPA network at speeds of 42 Mbps - at present this technology is already available for commercial exploitation. In addition, at CTIA 2009 in Las Vegas company Ericsson for the first time demonstrated the network, provides high-speed exchange of data at 56 Mbps.

January 20 operator 3 Scandinavia has announced the selection of Ericsson as a partner in the deployment of 84-megabit network HSPA. The network will cover all of Denmark and four major cities in Sweden. The initial phase of network deployment will begin in the first quarter of 2010. Commercial use of the HSPA network with speeds of 84 Mbit / s scheduled for the first half of 2011.
