CTIA Enterprise & Applications(TM) Show To Focus on Mobile Business

CTIA Renames Fall Show to Reflect Tremendous Growth in Wireless Data Usage Across the Enterprise.

WASHINGTON -- Reflecting the growing use of mobile technology in business and new opportunities for developers, CTIA–The Wireless Association® announced the rebranding of its fall show to CTIA Enterprise & Applications™. Building on the show's successful legacy, the event will demonstrate the benefits of wireless technology across vertical segments, including enterprise and cloud computing, media, content, health, energy, retail and transportation. CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010 will take place October 6-8 at Moscone Center West in San Francisco.

"Over the past 14 years, our fall show has evolved to reflect the increasingly innovative and competitive mobile ecosystem," said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director at CTIA. "CTIA Enterprise & Applications will prominently display the growing use of mobile technology for the enterprise and the expanding market for applications. The mobile business evolution is well underway, and our exhibit floor, educational sessions and partner events will provide an opportunity to learn best practices, network and drive revenue."

More than 15,000 enterprise users, application developers, service providers, content owners, device manufacturers, retailers and engineers will attend CTIA Enterprise & Applications. A range of companies will display the latest mobile business products and services, including: AT&T Inc., deCarta, DeviceAnywhere, Ericsson, KORE Telematics, mBlox, Inc., Microsoft, MicroStrategy, Motorola, Motricity, Nokia, Novatel Wireless, OpenMarket, Personal Communications Devices, Samsung, Sybase 365, T-Mobile USA, TeleCommunication Systems and Verizon Wireless.
