WARRENDALE, PA — Verizon Wireless has promoted Mark Frazier to president of the company’s Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region.

In his new position, Frazier will be responsible for sales and overall company operations in the Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region, a territory that encompasses Ohio, the western half of Pennsylvania and the northwestern portion of West Virginia.

Since joining Verizon Wireless in 1992, Frazier has successfully handled positions of significant responsibility during the course of his career. Most recently he managed the integration of Verizon Wireless and Alltel for the company’s Midwest Area. Prior to that, he served as director of Area Training Operations. During his tenure with the company, Frazier also led multiple sales channels including retail, business, indirect and strategic sales. He has worked in the wireless industry for more than 22 years.

“Mark’s excellent track record in a wide range of positions is a great asset for his leading the Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region,” said Marni Walden, president of Verizon Wireless’ Midwest Area. “In addition, his tenure in the wireless industry provides him with a well-rounded background of wireless technologies and is of significant benefit for both our employees and our wireless customers throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.”

Frazier and his wife Nora will be relocating to the Pittsburgh area.
