Chunghwa Telecom posts profit for April Tweet

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) has reported unaudited net profit of NT$4.426 billion (US$141 million) for April 2010, with January-April net EPS reaching NT$1.70.

CHT said it had 1.78 million FTTx subscribers and 360,000 ADSL subscribers at download speeds of 8Mbps or above as of the end of April.

Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have also released their financial figures for April.
