MTS and “Comstar- united teles-system”, the most important operator of the integrated telecommunication services in Russia and the CIS, entering the group of companies MTS, declared about the beginning of the process of the transfer of products and services Comstar- Oates into the use Brenda MTS. Toward the end 2011 on the telecommunication market of Russia within the framework the groups of companies MTS (into which enter MTS, Comstar- Oates, [MGTS]) will remain two Brenda - MTS and [MGTS].

Within the framework the process of the integration of Brenda [Gruppy] companies Comstar- Oates - Comstar and Stream (including Stream TV) in Moscow and regions in all user segments will be gradually substituted by brand MTS. For guaranteeing the smooth passage will be provided the period, when products for the mass segment, those earlier moved under the brand Stream, will be proposed under the brand MTS Stream. Final passage under the brand MTS of these products and the failure from Brenda Stream will occur to the end of 2011.

Thus, within the framework the groups of companies MTS under the brand MTS in the entire territory of Russia will be allowed the complete spectrum of services to the connection: the mobile and fixed connection, mobile and fixed wide-band Internet access, services of paid TV, Wi-Fi.

Change they will not touch Brenda [MGTS] (company it will continue the rendering of telecommunication services in Moscow under its brand) and, in the initial stage, products “Comstar -WiMAX”.
