GRAFTON, OH — Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the largest 3G network, has activated two new cell sites in Lorain County, which enable more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive e-mail and text, picture and video messages; view high quality videos; access the Internet; and download music, games and ringtones while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
The new cell sites improve coverage in:
* Brentwood Lake
* Carlisle Township
* Grafton
* North Eaton
* Laporte
The cell sites also improve coverage along:
* Interstate 20 from Hale Road northeast to the South East Bypass
* Lagrange Road from Elyria South Park south to Parsons Road
* State Route 83 from State Route 82 south to State Route 303
* State Route 57 from State Route 82 southeast to State Route 83

Verizon Wireless prepares its network year-round to ensure customers can use their wireless devices when they need them most. The company has spent more than $59 billion since it was formed – $5.7 billion on average every year – to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services. During the first quarter of this year, the company invested nearly $62 million in its Ohio network.
