Operator [VympelKom] declared about the starting in the commercial operation of the mobile network of the third generation in Thule city. Networks 3G support all services, allowed in standard 2G (GSM), and they possess the additional advantages, such as the high speed of transmission of data, compared with wire Internet access (to 7,2 Mbit/s), the possibility to accomplish [videozvonki], and much other. Thus, for instance, the networks of the third generation make it possible to examine the telecasts, transmitted in the network the Internet, in the real time on different types of devices, be it cell phone with support to 3G, communicator or laptop computer, and to [skachat] 6 [M]P3 of melodies with the size of 5 mb. each is possible in 3 minutes.
Due to the state in April 2010 the network “[Bilayn]” of standard 3G in Tula provide ford coating in the most densely populated parts of the city; further, during the year, coating will be extended.
