Kathleen Kindle Rejoins Siegel+Gale as Strategy Director

Wednesday, May 26, 2010

LOS ANGELES -- Global strategic branding firm Siegel+Gale today announced the appointment of Kathleen Kindle as strategy director.

Rejoining the firm after a 10 year hiatus, Kathleen Kindle returns with more than 16 years experience in strategy, marketing and communications. In her new role, Kathleen will be leading branding engagements for a range of clients — including Qualcomm and Microsoft.

"We're known for simplifying complex brand problems, especially in the technology space," says Larry Vincent, group director, strategy. "To deliver that kind of work, it takes someone like Kathleen, who has an uncanny ability to sort through the extraneous material, find the core idea in a brand, and then express it in a clear and compelling way. The fact that she has solved so many of these brand challenges across so many industries, and developed a cadre of talented strategists along the way, is a bonus. She will play a critical role in our work going forward."

Kindle's professional background includes branding and creative strategy experience in the automotive industry, packaged goods, consumer electronics, financial services and the public sector.

"I've always been inspired by Siegel+Gale's 'Simple is Smart' philosophy and inherently believe that it is the right framework for building and creating all forms of brand experiences and communication," says Kindle. "I'm thrilled to be rejoining my colleagues in Los Angeles for a second time, and am excited about working with such a wonderful team of nice, smart and unstoppable individuals."

Prior to joining Siegel+Gale, Kathleen worked for TBWA\Chiat\Day where she developed insightful creative strategies for Infiniti, Whiskas, Pedigree, SaraLee, Principal Financial Group. Her brand and digital strategy expertise has also been put to use for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, the Metropolitan Water District, Whole Foods, Cedars-Sinai, St. John's Medical Center, Nissan and Infiniti. With Siegel+Gale, Kathleen's past brand development projects have included Charles Schwab, Amgen, Countrywide Home Loans, PIMCO, Pacific Life, IndyMac Bank, PacificCare, and many e-startups.

Kindle has a Master's Degree in professional writing from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and an undergraduate degree in English Literature and History from Ohio Northern University.
