Tuesday, May 4, 2010

NASHVILLE, TN — As recovery efforts continue in Nashville in the wake of recent record-breaking rain and flooding, Verizon Wireless has set up mobile communications stores to service customer’s needs and help area residents contact family, friends and loved ones.

Verizon Wireless currently has one mobile communications store operating in the parking lot of the Cool Springs retail store at 1959 Mallory Lane, Franklin, TN 37067. The company’s second mobile store will be fully operational on Tuesday, May 4 at the same location.

The mobile communications stores are equipped with fully functional devices, so residents without working cell phones can contact family, friends and loved ones free of charge from the company’s pool of wireless phones. Additionally, the store features a battery charging station that allows customers to charge their cell phones and smartphones at no cost.

Customers can also conduct standard activities in the stores including establishing new lines of service, purchasing phones and accessories, meeting with customer service representatives and paying bills.

Both mobile communications stores will serve customers Monday – Saturday, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm and Sunday, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, CST.
