San Jose Earthquakes Midfielder Arturo Alvarez Teams Up With Verizon Wireless In California To Kick Off The 2010 FIFA World Cup Tournament

Bay Area soccer fans are invited meet San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Arturo Alvarez at the Verizon Wireless store located at 768 Market Street in San Francisco.

Alvarez will be making a special appearance to help celebrate the kick off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament.

Soccer fans will have the opportunity to learn how to stream live Univision Interactive Media’s Spanish language broadcasts of the 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer matches from South Africa, exclusively on V CAST from Verizon Wireless. Customers will be able to see their favorite teams compete in the world’s foremost international soccer tournament featuring players from 32 nations, the culmination of qualifying matches among 208 countries.
