Garmin-Asus launch Android smartphone made by Foxconn

Garmin-Asus recently unveiled the A10 Android-based smartphone manufactured by Foxconn. The new device has already been picked by Holland carrier KPN with an official launch scheduled for July 2010. Shipments for other regions in Europe and Asia are planned for later in the year.

The A10 comes equipped with a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel auto-focus camera and Garmin GPS functionality.

Garmin-Asus currently outsources production to Pegatron and Foxconn.
