How To Zoom Thumbnail Taskbar on Windows 7

One of the features of Windows 7 as we know it is a feature of the Taskbar Thumbnail/Taskbar preview. With the taskbar thumbnails you can see the contents of an open window with mouse hover on the icon to an existing window on the Taskbar. However, maybe some of you think tasbar preview is too small to display the contents in the open window. Therefore, it seems to zoom the display from the taskbar thumbnail / preview Windows 7. Do you want?

There is a way that you can do to enlarge the taskbar preview of Windows 7. This can be done by adding a registry value on Windows. But do not be afraid, adding value in the registry are not dangerous to your system, as long as done right. Here are the steps enlarge the taskbar preview / taskbar thumbnail Windows 7:
  1. Open the Registry Editor by clicking Start--> Run and then Type "regedit" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
  2. In the Registry Editor window, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Taskband.
  3. In RHS panel or on the right side of the window, create a DWORD value by right clicking on blank area window and then select New --> DWORD (32 bit) value.
  4. Give the new value with the name "MinThumbSizePx" (without the quotes).
  5. Double click or right click the value and select Modify to change its value.
  6. In the Edit DWORD Value window, select the Decimal option, and provide value in the Value Data line with what you want. For Example 400.
  7. Close the Registry Editor and Restart your computer to see the change.
After the computer restart process is complete, please open a window. Then put the mouse cursor on the icon of existing windows on the taskbar. Does the size of the taskbar thumbnail is bigger than before? If yes, then you've managed to change the size of the taskbar thumbnails to get larger. If not, try repeating the above above steps. Change the value of the value of data with greater value. If you want to restore the taskbar thumbnail preview as before, you can simply delete the value "MinThumbSizePx" that you created in the Registry.
