Software Update for Motorola CLIQ XT™ Tweet

Introduction:

This is a two-step process for your Motorola CLIQ XT software update. This update provides improvements to the phone's performance as well as improved Visual Voice Mail design and interaction.

For optimal performance, we encourage you to download and install this latest software update.

Who Can Use This Release

ALL Motorola CLIQ XT users (USA T-Mobile customers only).
Highlights

After downloading and installing the software release, you will notice:
Improves Overall Phone Performance Generally improves data connectivity while reducing the occurrence of freeze-ups, resets, and random forced quits.
Visual Voice Mail Enhancements Enhanced design and interaction for Visual Voice Mail.
Bluetooth® Audio Improvements to Bluetooth audio while streaming.
Camera Correction Addresses instances of camera randomly freezing after taking a picture, and helps correct intermittent resets while camera and video applications are in use.
Screen/Display Performance Improves backlight performance for the display.
Text Messaging Improvements General improvements to text messaging - especially for longer text message threads.
Touch Screen Enhancement Improves overall sensitivity of the touch screen.
Instructions for Installing Software

1.We recommend downloading the update over Wi-Fi or 3G.

2.This software update will be accomplished in two steps.

First Step:

1.Select Download; after the software is downloaded, select Install.

2.After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.

Second Step:

1.After your phone restarts, you will receive a prompt to download the second update.

If you are not automatically prompted for the second software update, you should manually check for updates.

From the main menu, select the Settings icon,

Select About Phone,
o

Select System Updates.
o

Select Download;after software is downloaded, select Install.

2. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.

3. Your phone is now updated with the latest CLIQ XT software.
