Nokia Launches New Symbian-based Nokia X6 in Korea

Nokia announced it will release a new Symbian-based smartphone, the Nokia X6 for KT customers in early June. Targeting music-savvy users, the Nokia X6 is offering up to 35 hours of music playtime. This will allow music lovers to play their favorite music whenever and wherever they want with a user-friendly interface and an inbox headset, the company said.

This is the third Nokia smartphone for the Korean market following the Nokia 6210 and Nokia 5800 Express Music. The Nokia X6 is aimed at the mid-end market with a reasonable price tag, 595,000 Korean won including V.A.T.

The Nokia X6 sports a 3.2-inch display with 16:9 wide-screen and is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

The music phone allows users have up to 20 of their friends on the home screen and users can stay in contact with their closest friends by utilizing the Contacts bar and see-in-one-glance the latest email, texts and calls.
